The sampling plan by area calculates the sample size (n) from size of area of interess (N = AOI), inspection level (I, II or III) and acceptable quality limit (AQL).This plugin draws up an area-based sampling plan based on the area of interest for quality inspection. The plugin is based on ISO 19157: 2013 (Spatial Data Quality) and ISO 2859 (Attribute sampling inspection procedures).
The objective is to generate sampling units (inspection areas) to carry out inspections of quality aspects desired by the user
